TOURS & THE ROYAL TREK

Itinerary NEP-04 : 9 Nights / 10 Days.

Tours of Kathmandu & Pokhara plus the Royal Trek.

Tour of Kathmandu and Pokhara further supplemented by a relatively easy 4 day trek. This trek itinerary was initially made for HRH Prince Charles when he visited Nepal, and since then has been called "The Royal Trek." It is a relatively easy trek that can be done together with children over 12 including healthy senior citizens. Highlights of the Royal Trek include great views of the Annapurnas, Hiunchuli, and Manaslu ranges along with idyllic rural scenes.

Day 01--Arrive Kathmandu. Meet at the airport and transfer to hotel. Rest of the day at leisure.

Day 02--Morning, sightseeing of Kathmandu City & Swayambhunath. Afternoon, sightseeing of Patan & Handicraft Center.

Day 03--After breakfast proceed to Pokhara. Arrive Pokhara & check into hotel. Free afternoon.

Day 04 / 07-- Trekking

Day 07--Arrive Pokhara in the afternoon.

Day 08--Return to Kathmandu & check into hotel. Rest of the day at leisure.

Day 09--Morning,  sightseeing of Bhaktapur, Pashupatinath & Boudhanath. Free afternoon.

Day 10--Transfer to airport for onward connection.

THE ROYAL TREK

DAY 1

Around four hours walking today will take you from Pokhara to Kalikasthan, with superb mountain views of Annapurna, Lamjung Himal and Machapuchare. Overnight in tents.

DAY 2

Continue trek for about six hours through hills, forests and quaint small villages, to Lipyani Bahnjyang for overnight in tents.

DAY 3                             

Some five hours of trek today, through forests and Gurung tribal villages to camp near Syaglung village.

DAY 4

Trek continues, with some six hours walking to Begnas Bazaar, with transfer, by road, back to Pokhara.
